Organics Series 1
This series is a commitment to the exploration of formal Object-Ground relationships.
Both "Organics" series are comprised of approximately 20 paintings.
The first "Organics" contemporary painting in this series appeared in early January 2020. Several were created within the same week and I was taken aback at how easily they flowed out of me.
During the early phase of the 2020 Covid-19 quarantine, I wanted to create paintings that brought me joy. I remembered the early "Organics" paintings which I created in January and made a commitment to explore this theme in more detail in my studio practice.
The result is this set of paintings titled "Organics" Series 1.
